About Helping our Kehillah
In 2014 Dayan Westheim and myself started a small project for a handful of families that needed help, we both had no idea that this would grow and become a main part of my time. we both knew that we needed to help in a way that no one would know what help these families needed , I left the finacal findings to the Dayan and I went out to collect the funds , this was our partnership.
Over the years this project had grown and we both knew that a charity was needed to be formed to be able to ask for grants and the like, with all the paperwork to get ready for this request than covid came and our dear Dayan Westheim left us and I was on my own. I wanted to give up since it was very hard to carry on with out the Dayan, but was told by many Rabbi’s that without this help these families will not survive so well and I had to carry on.

With gratitude to Hashem we are so happy that after so many years of trying ,we were granted (2023) a charity number ,this will help us to achieve BH more money for families that need it by asking for grants etc.
We are here to make a difference to families in our community and soon a gift aid certificate will be set up on our account to help us more . We at Helping our Kehillah are looking forward to your help , because without it we cant help.
